Choosing a Logo

A little help here please…

Logoworks is designing a logo for us and we have 6 design concepts to choose from as well as two “extra compositions”. Here they are.

Please comment with your favorite logo.  If you have color suggestions let us know.  We can do several rounds of revisions with this group.  They did a great job on the logo for Maya Jade.  I’m not as excited (yet) with the logo for Super Affiliate Marketing.

My Favorites are logo # 3 and Composition #1. The colors and the logos are simple and attention grabbing.

I’m not as thrilled about these logo concepts as compared to last time we used logoworks - but I guess we need to be good about specifying what we like and don’t to get the most out of our revisions. That being said I like extra composition number 1 although not necessarily the colors it uses and the image is a little overpowering.

I like #3 in that it is fairly simple. I’d like to see some different more 2.0 fonts and colors. I’d like something with the feel of the logos here. The retro bubbles on #6 are kind of cool, although I think I’d lose the cylinder thing and the SAM title.

I like #3 and #5. #5 is probably my favorite. Its very clean, and the arc suggests, to me, a movement upwards to bigger and better things. However, I I think that the color needs to be changed. #3 is my second choice. Its also clean and simple. The icon could suggest making connections on the web or something like that. Like #5 I think I would like to see some other color options

I’d say #1, #7 then #3. 1 & 7 have graphic elements that seem a bit oversized, but scale them down a bit and I think it’s great.

#3 could be cool if it was tweaked slightly so the graphic and text are a bit more cohesive.

I actually like “Extra Composition #1″.

I like the concept of a target (targeting your marketing) and I like the “clean” feel to it.

    FWIW.

I like #5 best. Don’t love the color, but the font looks good and the arch thingy is pretty cool. I also like #3, although the little icon doesn’t really do it for me on I like the font.

some more feedback that i got…
I like the extra composition #1. Not crazy about the colors, but I do like the simplicity of it. I kind of like logo #3 as well, although it seems giant compared to some of the others. (seems to have a message of helping people get from point a to point c) #1 seems too techno, the font on two is 80s tech font, 4-6 I just don’t like at all, and extra composition 2, while nice, seems fairly random.

    and another…

My vote is logo #1 BUT with different colors. Orange and blue feel high-schoolish but I don’t know the industry that well enough, if people you are targeting will respond to that. It just shouts too much for me. Here are my other thoughts:

    #2 is hard to read.
    #3 type doesn’t feel together.
    #4 is yuck. SAM?
#5 looks like a haircutting logo. Supercuts?
#6 is yuck again. That is not a logo. Aquarium?

Extra composition #1 is actually okay but the logomark is way too big. Colors again are an issue to me.
Extra composition #2 is what? I don’t get it.

[…] We are still in the process of choosing a logo. Logoworks has been very good to work with and they’ve come back with these revisions: […]
