How to Become a Millionaire in Three Hours

I couldn’t resist sharing some laughs from a keyword search query report I’m running this morning. Let me explain, one of the paid search campaigns I run as an affiliate using google adwords is for spanish language ebook on how to become a millionaire using internet marketing. One of the keys to running a successful adwords campaign is starting with some broad match terms and then, once you have some quality data, running a keyword search query report. This will allow you to see the exact terms that your “broad match” keywords triggered. This information is useful in 2 ways: 1) Finding quality search terms to add into your campaign as “exact match” listings (an exact match term will trump the broad match equivalent all else being equal) 2) Develop a massive negative keyword list (you will be angry at first seeing some of the garbage you bid on by using broad match - that’s ok - refine and clean it out by adding negative terms). Eventually, after running through this process multiple times you fill find your exact match and negative keyword listings growing significantly and your broad matches although still in your account will begin to dwindle in amount of traffic sent.

OK, so now to the funny part. Running this report this morning I came across the following phrase that someone had searched and obtained my listing:

como hacerse millonario en tres horas (how to become a millionaire in three hours)

Now, I do have to admit that this person obviously knows exactly what they want - round of applause for setting a specific goal:) However, in all seriousness - will this person or the person searching how to “become a millionaire without exerting any effort ” ever really find success online - I rather doubt it. On the bright side I see people searching “como hacer un buen plan de negocios” (how to create a good business plan) and other phrases showing a willingness to work. Don’t get me wrong, the internet is a gold mine and things can be automated to a level never before seen in the business place. But a willingness to learn and implement those learnings is crucial to any substantial level of ongoing success online. Anyway, after writing this post I only have a couple hours left to reach that 3 hour millionaire goal so I better sign off. Until next time:)
